About Jill
"I started riding and taking lessons at the early age of 6. At the beginning of my riding career I rode western and slowly began to transition into English riding. I rode English for a few years, competed in jumping, hunter jumper, and flat English shows. Eventually, I had a very bad fall while jumping causing the muscle in my leg to internally bleed. After a couple months of physical therapy I was back on horses. Due to the fact this happened at an extremely young age, it made me afraid of the "what if I fall" So my trainer had told me go back to Western and slowly work my way back into jumping. Well, that never happened.

The tramatic event opened my eyes to different avenues in the western world. I started to compete in sorting, cutting, and gymkhana. Sooner rather than later, I got my first horse at the age of 12. Her name is Strawberry, she was 5 when I got her, green, and very under weight. My parents didn't know a thing about horses, what they knew was that I loved her and decided to buy her for me, no matter how much my trainer was against purchasing her. Strawberry has shaped the rider I am today. I trained her from being a green horse with approximately 100 rides, to evolving into a horse that has competed in sorting, cutting, trail, gymkhana, barrel racing, and roping. I look at that fall as a blessing because I don't know where I'd be today without the experience of training my own horse.

During high school I worked for a special needs program with horses, as a horse handler, and started to exercise ride horses locally. After high school I made my decision to go to Equissage California to get certified for Equine Sports Massage Therapy. I attended Mt. SAC to get a degree in horse and ranch management. I continue to grow business and become a better horsemen. Today I continue to add and expand my knowledge on more therapies and receive training in everything I offer."
